Haunt: The Real Slender Game.

Welcome back, viewers. Today I shall review my first slender game, titled Haunt: The Real Slender Game.

Haunt is a unique slender game. It is almost nothing like any other game. It even has an entirely different mythos behind it. The goal is to collect all the scraps, which is similar in every other slender game. What makes this game diverse is that in order to do so, you will need to find keys to access certain areas. And saying that, you can probably guess that this game has one of the biggest maps I've ever seen in a horror game. It ranges from an inn to a bunker to a church and so on. It just never ends!!

And that's where this game flaws. The map is almost too big. There will be moments where you walk for almost half an hour before finding anything that will help you, all while being chased relentlessly by the slender man. Not to mention, slender looks really scary in the current version.

That is what slender looks like when he kills you. He almost reminds me of an alien.

Anyway, this game is the best slender game I've played. Overall, this game deserves a 9/10. It is that good!!!

His reviews are pretty amazing, and he even previews some games, such as the Assassins Creed four. It sure is something I would recommend checking out!!

Disease stufffff

IF

I

COULD

CURE

ONE

DISEASE

It would be cardiac arrest.

Seems kinda random, right? Truth is, cardiac arrest almost always means instant death. Instant death reallllly sucks. Cardiac arrest is when the heart just stops and the entire cardiac system fails. If you can't breath, you probably can't live. So therefore, I would cure cardiac arrest. If you want to know a fact,In the U.S. alone, approximately 359,400 people die of cardiac arrest per year. That's around 985 people a day!!!!!! So if cardiac arrest was gone, that would be very good.

Note

I do hope you have noticed that the page is labeled Indie game reviews and other stuff. Due to lack of high-speed internet, downloading is not available at the moment. So therefore, I am going to focus more on the other stuff part of the blog. I just thought I'd tell you.

P.S. Other stuff may include reviews of  non-indie games, articles on various SCPs, plain randomness, ect. I'll say it again, if you have any indie games that you are curious about, comment about them in any given post. I'll play any of them, as long as they're games that I'm okay with (which is almost anything, really)

SCP-087-B

Ok, let's talk about SCP.

I hate this game...... I hate it sooooooo much. But it ends up being one of my most favorites. That's how much it sucks.

You thought Slender was scary. Well, I'll tell you right now that the only thing that even NEARLY compares to SCP might be Amnesia. But still, SCP-087-B is the scariest game I have yet to play.

Right there is what you will see during most of the game. You waste time trying to find what's at the bottom of a seemingly endless staircase. Sound scary yet?  Probably not, but what makes this game scary as hell is the atmosphere that mixes in with the jumpscares. As you walk down the stairs, you hear some very disturbing sounds, and the very staircase itself will branch off into mazes that make the games scare factor raise sevenfold. Basically, one wrong turn could result in certain death. On top of that, some supernatural monster thing will come out of nowhere, whether it be in front of you or behind you, and you will have to avoid contact with it or you're dead. Jumpscares won't necessarily kill you, but they are there for the scare.

And that is why I love the game, and I will never forget it. It sucks, I hate it. But it serves its purpose. It is meant to scare the living death out of you, and it scare the living death out of me with lights and without sound. It is something I would say anyone should play this game. Why? Because it simply puts everything else to shame. It makes slender look like a kids game. This is for hardcore horror gamers. If not, it sure as heck'll make you one.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to give an overall

overall:8/10

Le mission

........I don't even know where to start. Why don't you scroll down for a while so I can think.

Ok. Le mission is a free indie game for pc. It can be downloaded here gamejolt.com/games/lemission.

it is. what? Why is the text green? what kind of sorcery is this? Oh well. Le mission is a game where you play as a weird thing that I think represents a french operative. I really don't know. But the goal is to kill all the enemies and save the hostages. You fail if you get hit once, or if a hostage dies.

There. We are back to normal text. I seriously have no clue as to why it was green. Anyway, as you might be able to tell from the very small picture, this game is super intense! And on top of that, super hard. I rage quit after playing the third level. Back to details, what I love about this game is that it is fast paced, challenging, and it has very smooth gameplay.

Overall rating: 7/10

Update

Hello, just an update. If you have any suggestions for indie game reviews, post in the comments of any post. I will read over them and I might play them, and if I do, I will for sure review them here. Thanks for reading and don't forget to post!

DLC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I downloaded the new uprising DLC for Call of Duty Black Ops 2, (yes, I am only supposed to do indie reviews, but this is more of a rant than a review) at 11 o'clock last night, and let me tell you.... IT WAS EXTREMELY mediocre. I can say it was way better than Revolution, but only two maps were decent, and well, I haven't really had the chance to play Mob of the Dead yet, so I won't rant on that, but only half the map pack was good!?!?!?!

Alright, first off, there's Magma......... The biggest letdown in Call of Duty history(in my opinion). I was really excited to see that there would be map functions besides opening doors, but the lava is SO FREAKING UNREALISTIC!!!! While I was playing, I could see a floating rock outside of the map, and I could tell that the magma is just an animated texture. You can fall out of the map, into the lava, and see that it is just a thin layer floating above solid ground. Not only that, there's a wall of magma that you can touch, with out dying! It is just a really bad map. UGHDFKJLSHDGLSGKJLH!!!!

Now, down to the other BAD map.

    Encore.

I'll just tell you now, if you want the map pack because of encore, save your money!!!! Encore is a rip-off!!! If you want an idea of what it is like, I'm pretty sure Treyarch was thinking "How about, we rip off left for dead 2's Concert level (if you've played l4d2 you know what I'm talking about) and make it look cooler. That way, the fans will love it!! But, in order to be boring, we must make sure the map is perfectly symmetrical, smaller than freaking Nuketown, and let's not forget to make it so that they can't go in the stands. no-one likes stands!!! Even if it does make good vantage points for snipers, and increase the size of the map, everyone will hate it if they can go into the stands!!!!"

   Treyarch logic everywhere, guys.

Ok, I'm no longer mad. Studio is brilliant. Vertigo, while not amazing, is a fun map that should result in some interesting matches. I really enjoyed playing on these two. Studio is an original take on the map Firing Range from Black Ops 1. It has the same exact layout, but with a Hollywood theme to it. Firing Range was my favorite map in the original, so I'm glad they remade it. Vertigo, is something of an interesting map. My favorite part is that it has automatic door fuctions, which means doors open for you, instead of having to press a button. This can be used in a very strategic manner, and yes, I'll admit, it can also get annoying when it comes to campers, but that's why there are plenty of flanks. Overall, Vertigo makes for some quite interesting domination matches.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten the chance to play Mob of the Dead. All my friends hate it, but I find it the best map yet. First of all, I've gotta say that I love the cut scene at the beginning. Not only that, but the characters are original, the very idea of the map is very original. You play as one of four inmates at the brutally famous Alkatraz prison. Zombies have taken it over, and it's up to you to build a plane and escape ( I haven't actually achieved that yet, so I don't know what happens if you build the plane. NO SPOILERS). My favorite part is that they've added many new weapons, like a tommy gun, an Uzi, and a rumored AK-47. The only thing I find frustrating is the warden. He's basically a huge zombie that comes out of nowhere and sprints at you. I had juggernog, and I don't know if it was just a flaw or something, but he killed me in two hits!!! It's ridiculous! I'd really recommend you grab a partner to play this, otherwise the warden just becomes a problem. This is a great map, and I can say with confidence that it's worth your money.

Yes, due to me being an idiot, I deleted the indie games page, from now on I will just post reviews on the home page, which has been renamed. Thanks for your time!
April 13, 2013

Hello, people of the universe. Today I shall review my first indie game ever, White Noise Online!!!!!!!!!!

White Noise Online is an xbox 360 indie game, and it can be found on the marketplace for a dollar. The point of the game is to explore four maps and try to find eight tapes on each while being stalked by an "ancient evil."

Sounds like Slenderman, right? Well, it basically is. There are some interesting twists to it, though. And the main twist would be multiplayer. Yes, you can play with up to three other people as you search for the tapes. But I found it constantly irritating when I was ditched by the other players due to lack of communication. The thing is, if you are alone in an online match, the monster will only hunt you until you either reunite with the other player(s) or you die. Once you die, you become a ghost that can do nothing but try and guide the living players to victory. (It's harder than you think)

Another thing that makes this game stand out a little is the character selection. There are around ten characters to choose from, and each character has his/her own background and abilities. For example, one character can sprint for a really long time, but not have a high sanity meter, while another could be the exact opposite.

Overall, this game manages to deliver the scare of a slender game. Not nightmare inducing, but not for the faint of heart. I would definantly reccomend playing with the lights off and the volume up. Otherwise, it just gets boring after a few plays. But for one stinking buck, it ain't too bad.

 rating: 6.5/10

The home page is still pointless

Hello, people of the universe. I just wanted you to know that the home page is still utterly useless. So ya!

Also, I will be posting indie reviews very soon. Be sure to check out the indie games page!!

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Well, it's yet another day, so I shall post something on this pointless blog.

Ya know what I did yesterday? I played at a concert. You may ask, how does this affect my life? Answer: It doesn't. I did mention this blog is yet to have purpose. But that's not what today is about. Today is about something unnamed. I could show you some of my other pets, but I think one shall keep the bloggers entertained. I could review a game, but there are about 20 trillion other blogs already doing that.

Here's an idea. Instead of reviewing major label games (Call of Duty, Halo, Bioshock, Gears of War) I can review Indie games. If you don't know what Indie games are, then read this. I will try my best not to insult you.

Indie games are games that are made by a small team of people. Some amazing Indie games are even made by one person (example: Imscared: A pixelated nightmare.) The thing with Indie games is that they aren't dependent on major label companies (Activision, EA, etc.) so they can go anywhere, they are cheap  to make, and they can end up becoming hugely popular (for example, Minecraft, Slender: T8P) So I will help with these indie games by promoting them and hopefully giving them a boost in popularity.

It is a new day, and therefore there is a new post. Today, I will post a picture of my pet, mr. smiley. He turned 3,234,342. He was born on an abandoned staircase, and even though his favorite thing to do is scare people senseless, he will never be hated by the foundation.

There he is. Were not sure if  he's even from this world but he's cool, so we keep him. Comment on what you think and please comment on yesterday's post. It would really help if this website had meaning. The foundation thanks you. ?/\|
